工作申請函通常由兩部分組成，即附函(convering letter)和履歷表(resume)，前者的目的是引起讀者對申請的注意，后者則提供讀者有關(guān)申請人與工作相關(guān)的信息，有時還附有照片等。工作申請函語言宜樸素簡練，圍繞雇主的招聘要求，如實而突出地闡述自己的才能，必要時附上一些補充材料。記住寫清楚你的地址及電話號碼。
