Senior executives at the tech companies said on Thursday that the Internet of Things — a network of physical objects or “things” embedded with electronics， software， sensors and network connectivity — will further change lives in China。

星期四，科技公司的高管表示，物聯(lián)網(wǎng)——即物理對象或“事物”被嵌入到電子、軟件、傳感器和網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接-----將進(jìn)一步改變中國人的生活。

They were discussing future technology trends at the 2nd World Internet Conference in Wuzhen， Zhejiang province。

在浙江省烏鎮(zhèn)的第二屆世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會上，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大伽們交流了未來的科技發(fā)展趨勢。

Robin Li， chief executive officer of Baidu Inc， China’s largest online search company， said he is betting on the future of artificial intelligence。

中國最大的在線搜索公司百度的CEO李彥宏說，他打賭將來人工智能會實(shí)現(xiàn)。

Li， whose company has applied artificial intelligence technology to vehicles， said self-driving cars will be quite common on the roads in three to five years。

百度公司已經(jīng)將人工智能應(yīng)用在汽車上，李彥宏稱無人駕駛汽車在未來的三到五年內(nèi)將會普及。

“More important， cars will be more like a computer on wheels，” he said， adding that people are expected to be able to connect with each other through their cars。

他說，“更重要的是，汽車將更像是在車輪上的電腦，”并補(bǔ)充說，人們有望通過汽車連接起來。

For Baidu’s Internet rival Tencent Holdings Ltd， there is even the possibility of people communicating through retina or virtual reality technology。

對于百度的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)競爭對手騰訊公司來說，甚至通過視網(wǎng)膜或虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)技術(shù)交流也成為可能。

“Even brain-to-brain communication via an electroencephalogram may be possible by wearing some devices，” said Ma Huateng， chief executive officer of Tencent。

Zhou Hongyi， chief executive officer of Qihoo 360 Technology Co Ltd， said that by connecting more than 1 billion people via smartphones， many innovative business models have been mushrooming and drastically changing people’s lives in China。

奇虎360科技有限公司CEO周鴻祎表示，智能手機(jī)連接了10億多人，從而導(dǎo)致許多創(chuàng)新性的商業(yè)模式層出不窮，徹底改變了中國人的生活。

“But in the future — be it cars or wearable devices — all things can be connected to each other via the Internet。 The more people we have， the more devices can be connected to the Internet， and the stronger and more powerful our Internet industry will be，” he said。

“但是在未來—無論是汽車還是可穿戴設(shè)備—所有的東西都可以通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)連接。使用的用戶越多，穿戴設(shè)備越多，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)產(chǎn)業(yè)就會越強(qiáng)大有力。”他說。
