Many spent their fortunes on yachts, Rolls Royces and diamonds. A few of them lost their glamour quite suddenly and were left with nothing but emptiness and colossal debts.

好萊塢充滿魅力。在這里，那些夢(mèng)想當(dāng)明星的少男少女們，若是有點(diǎn)兒運(yùn)氣，可以實(shí)現(xiàn)他們的夢(mèng)想。好萊塢使人聯(lián)想到棕櫚樹(shù)環(huán)繞的大游泳池、雞尾酒吧和室內(nèi)陳設(shè)時(shí)候百萬(wàn)富翁居住的豪華住宅。而大碗明星都是百萬(wàn)富翁。許多電影明星花巨資購(gòu)買(mǎi)游艇、勞斯萊斯豪華轎車(chē)和鉆石飾品。但也有少數(shù)的電影明星很快失去了光彩，剩下的只有空虛感和一屁股債。
